Wee Baby Stuff

There's something about these mittens built for two that puts a lump in my throat, maybe it's because the simple act of holding hands can be so comforting and nice. Or maybe the difference in the sizes of paws is a subtle reminder or the fleeting nature of childhood or maybe it's how they would be a lovely reminder of your little person if you were wearing them solo... I dunno, I just love them.

They are available from Chasing Fireflies for $58. Which seems a bit steep to me. But I'm thinking they could be DIYed by someone with a spot of knitting know how, or even just by hand sewing a couple of store-bought mitts together in the right configuration.
